FCB Aotearoa Advances Alan Jones and Angelo An to Creative Directors

In a notable promotion, FCB Aotearoa has elevated senior creatives Alan Jones and Angelo An to the role of Creative Directors. Since rejoining FCB in 2021, the duo has spearheaded successful campaigns such as 'Toll Booth' and 'Through My Eyes' for Waka Kotahi, 'How To Do Nothing' for Te Hiringa Hauora, and the recent 'The Second Sun' for Mercury Energy, all of which have received acclaim.

With a distinguished career marked by multiple awards, including Cannes Lions, D&AD, Immortal Awards, Gold at One Show, and AXIS Grand Prixs, Alan and Angelo rank among the top 10 Creatives on BestAds over the past decade. In 2023, they were honored as the Creative Team of the Year at the 44th AWARD Awards in Sydney.

FCB's co Chief Creative Officers, Leisa Wall and Peter Vegas, commended the duo, stating, "Alan and Angelo are exceptional talents. Their dedication to the craft, client collaboration, and willingness to support other teams in the department made them natural choices for creative directors. We are thrilled to witness their continued growth."

Expressing their thoughts on the promotion, Alan Jones and Angelo An shared, "Our objective has always been to create work that resonates with people, and now, as creative directors, we aim to inspire our teams and clients to do the same. This promotion holds great significance for us, and doing it alongside our colleagues at the agency where it all started makes it even more special.
